For six months I worked as an intern for this lovely Dutch teenage girls magazine. When I started it was called Fashionista, but after three months of working there, the magazine merged with Fashionchick and became Fashionchick Girls. The publication is part of Sanoma.
During our internship, we joked that we would never be able to fully leave "Fash" behind. We were right. Soon after I exchanged my desk at Fash for a seat along the windows of 20 Cooper Square (NYU's Journalism School), I wrote an article about food trends in New York for Fashionchick Girls' Food Issue.
During our time at Fashionista / Fashionchick Girls, my colleagues and I came up with a new plan for our Instagram. We re-designed "the feed" by creating a grid with little pastel-colored posts with quotes and 'would you rather' questions. I created their templates.
